I'm currently privileged to work on a new life sized memorial for Blaze. Blaze was an important member of North Kitsap Fire and Rescue.
This is the clay maquette that was chosen by the department. The maquette is a small study used for composition and design purposes. The end result will be a high bas relief that incorporates Blaze's story on the right. The finished sculpture will also include a medallion in the white space on the left.
I'm so excited to see your creation. I was one of Blaze's mama's here at NKFR. Just opening up your website and seeing his beautiful face choked me up! He was such a joy for us here and your works are going to help preserve his story for years to come! Thank you!

Thank you, Cindy! I can tell by the photos that Blaze was very special and I'm so happy to be working on this precious memorial for him.
